We are a nonprofit rescue home for abandoned, ill, abused, elderly or unwanted ferrets. We operate solely on the needs of every ferret encountered. No ferret is ever refused. We do not put ferrets to sleep unless they suffer such illness that they no longer can enjoy a good quality life. We will never have a ferret put to sleep based on how long they have been with us.

On this site you will find information on who is available for adoption, new additions not quite ready to be adopted, general needs for ferrets, common medical issues, and other links that could be beneficial.

Here at Chelles 2nd Chance Ferret Haven I DO NOT ship ferrets, so PLEASE do not ask. You will need to come and look at the available ferrets, be interviewed and fill out an application.

I also would be more than happy to help you with any questions or comments you may have. If you need help with your beloved Ferret and do not know where to turn I encourage you to contact me via email or telephone, I will do my best to help you with any problems you may have. After all this to me is completely about the welfare of these beautiful and mischievous critters.
